Waterproof Car Covers Prevent Mold

There is nothing worse that having a nice black layer of mold on the hood of your 1977 Mustang.  It just adds so much to your ownership and driving experience I recommend it to everyone!

I hope that you can hear my sarcasm and don’t actually think that getting mold on your car is a good thing, but that is exactly what some people are asking for when they put a car under a normal cover for the long term.  What they should be doing is putting it under one of those waterproof car covers.  That way, moisture doesn’t even get on their hood or roof so there is no chance of mold accumulating.

You see, mold can form on normal car covers when there is a lot of moisture trapped underneath the cover.  The sun then increases the temperature significantly, making it a breeding ground for mold.  Going water proof will eliminate the water seepage and make it so you can safely leave a car under a waterproof cover for an extended period of time.

Teen Drivers Suck At Driving

So the other day I was taking my 2000 Toyota Corolla out when a teenage girl started coming up behind me in a Range Rover.  Since my car is significantly smaller I got a little nervous because she wasn’t showing any signs of slowing down.  When the light in front of me changed I got really nervous because it didn’t look like the girl was even paying attention, here gaze was pointing downward.  I braked because there was nothing else I could do and then there was the sound of screeching tires behind me and the teen’s Range Rover pulled up on my left.  The girl looked a little frantic and she had her cell phone in her hand.

I think that every parent should track their teen’s car with GPS so that they can’t get away with such terrible and reckless driving.  The GPS device would know that they made a sudden stop and there parents would be able to talk to them about why they were driving the way that they were.  It is dangerous and is going to get them or another driver on the road killed.

Employ Your Friends and Family

To help you find your next car.  If you think for a minute about the network of people around you including friends, family, and co workers it is pretty huge.  Now contemplate how many people that those people know, and those people know, etc.  There are a lot of people that you could potentially be put in contact with to help you find cheap cars that are for sale.  At any given moment, there are millions of cars for sale around the country, and your chances are really good that some of those cars are in your direct network of friends, or your extended network.  Your secretary’s cousins best friend may have the car of your dreams for the price you have been dreaming about, but they will never know unless you start talking about it.
