Panasonic Nose Hair Trimmer Gets High Ratings
Posted by whaleadmin in Diet and Exercise on July 20th, 2009
Did you know that the panasonic nose hair trimmer gets very high ratings from consumers? Yes it’s true, if you read online reviews you will notice that this brand usually receives 4 out of 5 stars. That’s testimony of a great product. The main reason is that the panasonic nose hair trimmer comes with a revolutionary rotary blade system with cone safety. What this means is that your nose hair will be trimmed without the blades touching your skin or inner nostrils. This means you won’t have to worry about getting cut, that’s something that everyone should look for in a nose hair trimmer. Another great feature of the panasonic nose hair trimmer is that it could be used either wet or dry. So if you want to take it in the shower with you, then it’s no problem. This will definitely reduce any mess caused by trimming your protruding nose hairs. I could go on and on as the panasonic also has stainless steel, and some select models even include light and vacuum.

When looking into buying a one cup coffee machine, why should you choose a Keurig machine? To be perfectly frank, it is because they are the best. For example the Keurig B40 machine. This machine is a 1500-watt single serve coffee brewer. It can make a fresh cup of coffee, hot cocoa, or tea in less than a minute. The adverage price of the Keurig B40 Coffee Maker is around $100.
One of the features of this machine is the 48- ounce water tank that it is equipped with. It can easily be removed, and can make up to five brews with out having to be refilled. One of my favorite features of this machine is the fact that it can accommodate both regular size mugs, and also travel sized mugs. So it is perfect for a person who is on the go.

Acai Berry and Cholesterol

An amazing food you can eat to lower your cholesterol is acai berry.
Eating acai berry and cholesterol levels are effected. Acai has a very high amount of anthocyanin. It has about thirty-three times as much anthocyanins as red wine does.
Coronary heart disease is a leading cause of deaths in the United States. This is caused because of improper diet and cholesterol levels among other things. Anthocyanins help control your cholesterol levels.
Acai berry can help to improve your cholesterol with these Anthocyanins. Anthocyanins also improve blood pressure and reduce your risk of blockage of the arteries. To reduce your medical expenses as we get older we really need to watch our diets. When we get older cholesterol levels are harder to manage so its a good idea to start early so we don’t find ourself at major health risks later in life.
Herbs
Posted by whaleadmin in Diet and Exercise on July 14th, 2009
Herbs are plants that are used for cooking, scent, or other things, such as medicinal or spiritual uses. The procedure of using the plant is different when being used for cooking versus medicine. For instance, in medicine, practically the entire plant in all it’s parts are considered herbs, whereas in cooking only special parts are considered. These natural herbs are used in various ways.
There are hundreds of culinary herbs and spices. These are not used as an essence of a meal, rather simply to flavor it. Some culinary herbs are considered shrubbery, meaning they come from leaves or trees. Many people enjoy growing herbs in their own herb garden.
Phytochemicals and numerous nutrients are in plants and have effects on the body. These plants are herbs that are used for medicinal purposes. Certain herbs relieve stress. Others can reduce high blood pressure. The use of these medicinal herbs can be traced back to the 10th century. Many herbs that were used back then are still used today to treat illnesses without any side effects. Unfortunately, large doses of these herbs can cause the herbs to become poisonous.
Herbs are also used for religious practices. In Christianity, baby Jesus was brought Frankincense and Myrrh to his bedside. In Hinduism, Tulsi is worshipped, and many Native Americans use herbs to have religious experiences. In mythology, the Norse God was even killed with mistletoe.
Herbs can be used for taste, scent, religion, or medicine. It is no wonder that the herb has become such a great addition to the plant family.
Drinking Red Wine vs. Taking Resveratrol Supplements
Posted by whaleadmin in Diet and Exercise on July 14th, 2009
Lots of media outlets have been reporting on some of the potential benefits of resveratrol. When researchers started studying the French Paradox they noticed that this naturally produced plant defense mechanism might go a long way in extending life in humans. In a famous story about the compound on 60 minutes, one scientist said that you would have to drink 1000 bottles of red wine per day to get the amount of resveratrol they used in one of their most positive studies.
He never said that amount of resveratrol was the optimal dose, just that it was the equivalent to what they gave the mice in the study. This has led to a discussion about whether drinking red wine would be enough to show benefits, or if you would need to buy resveratrol supplements to see the best results.
Many people are coming around to the side that higher amounts (anywhere from 100mg to 1000mg per day) are needed to get maximum benefits. It would be near impossible, and very unhealthy, to try to get this from red wine alone. Red wine can provide some really great benefits, but we have been drinking it for hundreds of years. If it was enough on its own we would have seen people getting the amazing results of some of these resveratrol studies already.

Electronic Cigarettes – The Key To Stop Smoking
Posted by whaleadmin in Diet and Exercise on July 9th, 2009
Being addicted to cigarettes is a horrible situation to find yourself in. Its fine when your 16 years old and it feels cool to be part of the gang that smokes and thinks the health consequences will never reach them but roll forward a couple of decades and nicotine addiction starts to get a bit old to put it mildly. Unfortunately no matter how hard you might try to quit smoking many of us just can’t seem to kick the habit.
It doesn’t matter if we try hypnosis, patches, gums or every stop smoking book on the market we forever find ourselves back where we started. It wasn’t until I found the electronic cigarette that I finally felt like I had found the secret to long term smoke free success. By allowing me to gradually cut down on nicotine intake and giving me the sensation associated with tobacco cigarettes, stopping became a stress free experience. The E cigarette was just what I needed.
My Opinion on The Best Adjustable Dumbbells
Posted by whaleadmin in Diet and Exercise, Uncategorized on July 8th, 2009
It is no secret that I love working out, and while I enjoy going to the gym, sometimes I don’t have time. That is why I have a weight bench and adjustable dumbbells at home. I looked for a long time to find the best adjustable dumbbells for me, and honestly… it took me a while.
I couldn’t decide between the PowerBlock adjustable dumbbells and the Bowflex adjustable dumbbell set. I ended up going with Bowflex, because I know someone who has them and she loves them. No doubt about it. She can even use them with a little toddler running around the house!
I love the way they are easy to change the weight on, and they are easy to store too – a lot easier than a big set of dumbbells that is for sure!
