Searching for a solid commercial vacuum cleaner is the first step in actually getting one. The research phase can be tricky, with a lot of confusion surrounding the term “commercial.” I would suggest you look at features such as the power of the motor (the more amps the better), the length of the power cord (the longer the better), and other things such as brand reputation, servicability (if you have a problem, is there a shop in your town that works on your model or would you have to mail it in?), and if at possible – if you’re lucky – any warranty offered. Note that because of the extreme amount of use a commercial vacuum cleaner receives (10x as much or more as a household vacuum cleaner), many companies shy off on the warranty side, offering maybe a 6 month or 1 year warranty as opposed to a five year or life long warranty.
