In this day and age it is important that each of us trys our very hardest to reduce our carbon emissions. We can achieve this in many ways, but at the same time few of us really want to make genuine sacrifices. There are some easy, quick wins however.
On such easy win is to use solar lights when deciding what type of lights to use in your garden. Solar lights use electicity generated from sunlight in order to charge the battery that lights the LED lamp. Because this is a renewable source of energy the impact on carbon emissions is negligible.
So you can honestly say that despite the fact that you have installed garden lights, you can defend your environmental impact by asserting that they were in fact solar garden lights and therefore environmentally friendly.
