Grant was an exterior lighting nut. He had read somewhere that exterior lights were great for security purposes, effectively providing a blanket of security, in the form of light, around the house. This had been confirmed by his mate, Dave, the local policeman who had told him they had had a circular sent around from head office giving them an instruction to encourage local residents to install exterior lighting around their homes.
Grant however had caught the bug and had now installed other forms of exterior lighting. He had really gone to town and put in exterior task lighting to light his new patio barbeques area, but he had gone even further and put in accent lighting around his garden to create all sorts of lighting effects to enhance the ambience of his garden, especially for those times when he had is mates over for a late night barbecue. He was really glad he had stumbled across exterior lighting.
