Female Hair Restoration

When a person thinks of hair restoration they usually picture some bald guy who is trying to get hair growing on the big shiny spot on the top of his head.  Very rarely do they think of women and their hair loss problems.  The fact is a large percentage of women will experience some sort of hair loss, whether it is thinning or patchy baldness, in their life time.  Up until recently this was a taboo subject that was covered up with a wig.  Now that women are more physically active they are requiring better solutions.  Currently, female hair restoration is limited to the FDA drug Minoxidil and the hair implant procedure follicuar unit extraction.  Both of these work well, but as time goes on it is hoped that more hair loss remedies will be available to the fairer sex.

Hair loss is a self-esteem blow to both men and women.
