I was always a messy person. As a kid, the focus was more on getting school work done than getting house work done. So, I was never really in the habit of cleaning up after myself. Also, I’m a perfectionist. If I can’t get done something correctly, then it is not worth doing. Since house work is a never ending process, it just seems overwhelming to me that I can’t do it once neatly in the first place and never do it again.
Given the type of person I am, I just decided to post on local job boards that a house cleaning job was available. Even though I don’t like to clean myself, I do appreciate a clean house. After all, you got to live somewhere, right?
