If you are into collecting at all, you may have done some browsing on eBay looking for deals on whatever it is that you like. I like to collect old cars. What amazes me every time I start looking at eBay is that somehow I end up looking at old collectibles that are totally unrelated to the cars I like. Usually it is something that just surprises me. Something that I never even realized people collected.
My most recent discovery like this was antique marbles. It seems that some people are very serious about their marble collecting. It is a collectible with a very long history. People have been playing marbles and collecting them for a very long time. I never realized that there are many different kinds of marbles made from different materials and by different methods. I also never realized how valuable some of these old marbles are to collectors. I will definitely keep my eyes open for them when I go out to estate sales from now on.
