Portable closets offer a space that’s portable and organized for closet-items, such as clothing, socks, and underwear. They are great for guest rooms and when travelling from point A to point B. But what about reinventing them for other uses? Some of the folks at Portable Closets Guide offered the suggestion to use them for storage (as they are breathable) as opposd to boxing the clothes up. A great novel idea was seen in use by a local drama club at school; all the stage props and clothing that could and be organized like so was placed into portable closets and wheeled out when needed. Another clever usage of portable closets is to place them in the laundry room and sort clothes out directly from the dryer into it. This way, when you’re all done, you can simply wheel it down the hall and into your room and move the clothes, pre-folded and wrinkle-free, from the portable closet to the real closet!
