Sometimes while driving around town, I will see a nine or twelve passenger van. While waiting at a light behind the van, the message displayed in the back is someone’s “final score” on a license plate. The “final score” is meant to tell everyone how many children they ended up with. The license plate displaying your message is so old school. The latest and greatest way is to show how many kids and pets you have scored by placing a stick family decal on your back windshield. I have a friend who has added a stick family car decal to the back of her vehicle and it takes up the whole window! Just recently having baby number eight, the window decal is twelve stick figures long including mom, dad, the cat, and the dog. I am sure glad that she didn’t add the fish!! Driving on the road and seeing such a car decal on the back of a vehicle leaves most everyone with the same thought, “Oh my! That’s a lot of kids”. However this mom of many is amazing with all of those little people. I have kids of my own, and to drive by a car with a stick figure family on the back of their car gives you a warm fuzzy feeling of love for the family. Yes, people of America are still proud of their family and the car decal is a great way to show them off!
