Most people would agree that socks are a necessity. If you’ve ever tried to go the day without a pair of socks on, you’ll know just how disgusting your feet are at the end of the day. That said, there isn’t a lot of emphasis put on socks as a fashion item. Compared to shoes, which are one of the hottest markets in fashion ever, socks hardly even get a mention. I guess the main reason for this is because they are not seen all that often, they hide away between your shoe and foot and no one is there to notice them.
This doesn’t have to be the case though, there are a few ways that you can utilise the humble sock to make an impact on your appearance. For example, you can get socks with frilly bits on the top to make them stand out more, or you can get a nice long pair that will travel up your legs. A nice pair of white over the knee socks can really enhance the shape of your legs and provide a marvellous fashion statement.
